Still hunting for sounds nobody’s played yet.
Deep, strange, femme forward grooves.
Deep grooves. Real feeling. No boxes. Tigress Panthera moves through music instinctively, blending house, techno, and everything jazzy, hypnotic, and strange into emotionally charged, genre-defiant sets that read the room and then take it somewhere new.
“Every set is a treatment.”
DJing is bodywork by other means. She spent fourteen years as an elite bodyworker, and she still works bodies. The instrument changed, the craft didn’t. It’s all tension and release: she listens with every sense, lets intuition guide her hands, finds where the room is holding, and lets it go.
Brought up on the Grateful Dead, long-form improvisation is her native language: no preplanned arc, just presence. Her sound is honest and untamed: less about perfection, more about presence; less about performance, more about permission. Every set invites you to come undone and reassemble as something truer.
Expect bouncy, strange, femme forward grooves: spacey one moment, tight and commanding the next, and usually holding a surprise, sometimes even for her. She loves to stretch people’s minds and musical palates, often layering psychedelic sounds and textures most people never imagined existed. When curating her sounds she looks for obscurity and originality while keeping some familiarity with an occasional fun edit, a hip hop remix, or a classic turned sideways.
A fixture of Denver’s underground as DJ, curator, and promoter, she founded the Dawns Highway sunrise-afterhours series, handled all talent bookings for VXN Den, and has curated and played events at Denver’s most iconic and in-demand venues (Mockingbird, Beacon, and Zodiac Haus), bringing prolific artists to the city for US debuts (Ignacio Morales) and Denver debuts (Alexi Delano), and playing direct support at those debuts herself. Behind the decks, she opened New Year’s Day 2025 in direct support of DJ Tennis, has played direct support for Magdalena, and has shared bills with Soul Clap, Alexi Delano, DJ Three, Öona Dahl & Matthew Dear, YokoO, Jay Tripwire, Ignacio Morales, CHKLTE, Sublee, Vampire Sex, and more, plus Insomniac’s Day Trip rooftop festival alongside TOKiMONSTA and Danny Daze, a headline Boo! Ball at Beacon, the Day One festival main stage, and a takeover of Larimar in Santo Domingo. Her debut EP Do Less arrived in 2025, and this October she stars in Sweden’s Allt för Sverige (season 14). You’re not here to be palatable. You’re here to be undeniable.
